Bicycling is a great way to travel around Kenmore for recreation or transportation. The Burke-Gilman Trail is a popular, recreational trail for cyclists, walkers, joggers, skaters, and strollers. This regional trail is also an important nonmotorized route for weekday bicycle commuters between Seattle and the Eastside. The trail offers great access and views of Lake Washington, the Ship Canal, Lake Union, various neighborhoods, and points east via other regional trails. The Kenmore Park & Ride is served by King County Metro and Sound Transit. There are ten different Metro and Sound Transit routes that will take you east to Woodinville, southeast to Bellevue, west to Shoreline, and southwest to Seattle including University District, First Hill, and Downtown.
